WOD: How did it feel when you found out you’d be on Season 3?

J: To be asked to be on Season 3 of World Of Dance was a dream come true! I’ve been so inspired watching the previous two seasons and I always wanted the opportunity to be on it.

C: It’s feels really good to get the message saying “Welcome to Season 3 World of Dance” and I couldn’t believe it was actually going to happen!! We’re just so happy to show the world what we love to do.

WOD: What style are you performing, and why?

J: Hip Hop because that’s what we do best!

WOD: How long have you been dancing, or dancing with your group?

J: Charlize and I began as great friends and started working together for the show in the summer of 2018.

C: I’ve been dancing since age 2. As a group we have been dancing for the past year but we’ve known each other since age 10.

WOD: Where do you draw inspiration from? Who/what inspires you?

J: I draw inspiration from the hip-hop culture and dance industry.

C: People that are humble and talented are people that remind me to stay true to myself.

WOD: Why do you think dance is important to the world?

J: I think dance is important to the world because it brings such joy to people that do it. Every move has a story and history.

C: Dance is more than just dance.!  It’s a way to speak without words and movement can make the world feel something they never knew existed.

WOD: What are you most excited/nervous about being on the show?

J: I’m most excited about being in front of the amazing judges and having the opportunity to showcase my choreography with Charlize. I’m also very nervous because I have never done anything like this and there’s lots of pressure on me.

C: I am really excited to show the world how we are able to finally show our work together as a team. It was a challenge being so young and also choreographing our own pieces, but we made it happen!! I am so grateful that we were able to accomplish so much and I have grown so much as choreographer.

WOD: Do you have a signature move/trick?

J: Our signature move would probably be the “woah”, which is featured in a lot of our performances.

WOD: What sets you apart from the competition?

J: What sets Charlize and I apart from the competition is our experience in the dance industry- although everyone in the competition is extremely talented and gifted.

C:  I think what sets us apart from others is our experience. We both have accomplished so much already.
