WOD: How did it feel when you found out you’d be on Season 3?
KM: When I found out I was going to be on Season 3, I was in absolute shock. (I thought my dad was joking when he told me!). I honestly never expected to make it to Season 3 and being able to perform on the stage was a dream come true.
WOD: What style are you performing, and why?
KM: I am performing contemporary pointe because I want to show that contemporary pointe can be a competitive and exciting genre of dance.
WOD: How long have you been dancing?
KM: I have been dancing for 11 years.
WOD: Who inspires you?
KM: My inspiration is Misty Copeland. She is such a beautiful dancer and has been such a big inspiration and role model to dancers including myself. I hope that when I grow up, I can inspire dancers just like she has.
WOD: What do you think your fans would want to know about you?
KM: I am a total tomboy! I absolutely love sneakers and long boarding around my neighborhood.
WOD: Why do you think dance is important to the world?
KM: Dance gives me and so many others an outlet to express their feelings. The dance community is like my second family.
WOD: What are you most excited or nervous about being on the show?
KM: I am so excited to see all of the amazing dancers and be exposed to different types of dance
