This all-male contemporary dance crew showed major potential during the Qualifiers then stepped up their game and killed their Duels routine. Read more about them in WOD MAgazine’s exclusive Q&A and see last weeks performance below.
WOD: How did it feel when you found out you’d be on Season 3?
M4: Finding out we made it on Season 3 of World of Dance was the most exciting moment of our lives. It still feels surreal, we are all huge fans of the show.
WOD: What style are you performing, and why?
M4: The style of dance our group is performing on the show is contemporary. Although we train in all styles of dance including ballet, jazz, hip hop, acrobatics and tap, we chose to dance in the style of contemporary as all four of us enjoy this style the most and much of our training is focused on it. The four of us also seem to connect instantly on stage and during rehearsal while dancing this genre.
WOD: How long have you been dancing, or dancing with your group?
M4: Moving4ward has been dancing together for 2 years, although it feels much longer as we are always together and spend almost every day of the week with each other, both in and outside of the studio.
WOD: Where do you draw inspiration from? Who/what inspires you?
M4: Our inspiration comes from working with amazing choreographers, and the training in our home studio. We are inspired by so many amazing professional companies and professional dancers. We also very fortunate, that as a group we constantly inspire, motivate, and push each other.
WOD: What do you think your fans would want to know about you?
M4: We would love for our audience to get to know our personalities; Findlay is the funny and charismatic one of the group, Stefano is the caring and cheerful one, Daniel is the thoughtful and friendly baby brother of the group, and Joey is the playful and sensible one. We would also hope to make sure that our supporters know how very thankful for each and everyone of them, this journey has been a dream come true.
