How did it feel when you found out you’d be on Season 3?
We were on cloud nine when we found out we would be on Season 3! We always dreamed of performing on that stage and when we did, we never realized that we would emerge as the winners.
What style are you performing, and why?
Hip-Hop with blend of Bollywood along with our forte of tricks.
How long have you been dancing, or dancing with your group?
We have been dancing together for the past 10 years.
Why do you think dance is important to the world?
Dance is all about expressing your emotions. For us it is also the way we connect to the Almighty. In today’s world, dance is just another way of healing yourself.
What are you most excited or nervous about being on the show?
We were really excited to meet the judges, especially JLo and Ne-Yo whom we have been following since childhood, and also meeting other contestants from different countries. We were really nervous wondering if the judges would like our style of dancing, which is very different compared to the other acts.
What sets you apart from the competition?
The kind of dancing we do, incorporating Bollywood moves along with high octane tricks, sets us apart from the other competitors this season. The variation of tricks which we keep on adding into our acts definitely makes our performances unique.
Have you won any competitions or titles in the past?
Yes, we were the first crew from India to win a Bronze medal at the World Hip- Hop Dance championship in 2015. We were also the winners of India’s Got Talent Season 3 (2011).
What cause or organization do you care about and would like World of Dance to promote?
We are very supportive of empowering women, especially in India. We also want to bring attention to homeless children and providing a way for them to pursue their education.
