Follow Jamilah as she attempts to teach a disgraced sorority how to step dance in order to win a competition and be admitted back on campus. Lighthearted and fun, this is the uplifting movie you and your girlfriends need this weekend.
This Norweigan film is going to give you major Step Up/Save The Last Dance vibes in the best way possible. Amalie finds her world turned upside down when her father loses his fortune. However, her life begins to change when she meets a handsome hip hop dancer who helps her find herself again. Battle may be predictable, but it has some truly incredible dancing and is well worth a watch.
Center Stage (2000)
If you’ve never seen this classic ballet film then grab some popcorn and settle in. The movie follows twelve young dancers (including a young Zoe Saldana) as they begin their training at the American Ballet Company. Emotional, funny, romantic, heartbreaking, Center Stage has it all plus dancing!
Whether you love it or love to hate it, there’s no denying that Burlesque is just so much fun to watch.
