What has life been like since appearing on NBC’s World of Dance?
Wow, such a blessing. Life has been crazy since being on the show! I have been recognized by all kinds of people in the street, airports, and at grocery stores. I have received tons of messages from new fans, and parents of young new fans, doing my choreography and telling me how my story and performances moved them and really spoke to them.
What have been some of the biggest changes/opportunities that have happened?
I was able to perform on Ellen! I have also had some huge trips to Canada, a
gig with Hyundai, and went to Kyrgyzstan to represent the USA in the Arts Envoy program. I’m
headed to China in August to judge the KOD dance competition and then going to Poland to
teach at the FairPlay Dance Camp.
What is your best memory being on the show?
When I got a standing ovation from all three judges for my Cut performance.
Would you ever consider competing on NBC’s World of Dance again?
Possibly with a partner or two.
What have you been up to since you appeared on the show?
I have been traveling a bunch and filming new videos as much as possible. Some collaborations and many solos. One collab was with Taboo from the Black Eyed Peas! I also did a collaboration with a dancer from France named Sadeck and that video just hit 16 million views on Facebook!
What are your future plans/goals?
I’m in the process of developing my own solo stage show. Me and my wife are trying to have kids at the moment and we are super excited for when she does get pregnant.
Anything else you think our readers would like to know?
I’m incredibly thankful and overwhelmed with all the amazing messages and comments I have received since the show aired. I want to say thank you and if you see me out and about, please don’t hesitate to say hi and take a picture!
